This daily devotional are scriptural insights that inspire me to be a better Steward of God’s Money. Through out my day, Scripture finds a way into my life and from the He passages I read, it always seems to speak to what’s most meaningful to me. Almost as if the scripture I read was specifically written just for me. Today, I received a birthday card.
God’s goodness is reflected in the way He has taken care of me financially. God has blessed me by blessing my husband with a good job. I desire to be a better steward of this goodness and wouldn’t it be the ultimate gift if I spent less money in order to give more little gifts of love to the poor.
Oh how great is your goodness…for you have stored up great blessings for those who trust and reverence You. Psalm 31:19

I am really weary of all things money. I’m burdened with my reality of bad spending habits in the past. I’m burdened by having to hear about how I can never change and I’m deeply saddened by the light shining in my face on how my poor habits make me a terrible soul. “You will never change. You’ll just fall back into your old spending habits and …”. Help me change for you Lord so I can give more back to you. If you don’t help me I will fail and I will fall back on my old ways. Please don’t let me be weary. I need all my energy to be full of joy and humility.
